Gyroflow

While working at Khemistry I added a feature to our Google Cardboard (remember when google cardboard was a thing) apps to allow users without a $10 pile of corrugated cardboard, glass and elastic to view our 360 content more easily. It was a nice separated little thing, so we decided to publish to save other developers some time. When I left the company, no one else was interested in maintaining it, so they let me take it with me.

The script keeps track of a running offset for gyro data. You can set it to manually treat the current gyro data as a zero rotation in unity. Users can swap back and forth between swiping their finger to move or using the gyroscope without the rotation jumping all over the place. You can even use touch and gyro at the same time.

There is a paid version available on the Unity asset store if you feel like buying me a coffee, and a free version available on GitHub.
